    About

    Do you have a passion for all things art and fine art? Getting into this highly competitive sector requires commitment and dedication. You'll get that from your lecturers on this broad course with a wealth of industry experience and together we will develop your technical skills and expertise to be able to kickstart your career in the arts. We encourage our students to dream big – supporting students with applications, exhibitions and developing their own individual style and learning the importance of collaboration. The Arts Practice course is a place to experiment and create, using your skills and knowledge to develop ideas and projects that will challenge you to push ideas beyond your expectations. The course will teach you everything you need to know, whatever level you're starting at, while putting the creative power in your hands. There are many great work experience and collaboration opportunities across the whole of the creative industries department, college and professional world.

    Entry Requirements

    UCAS Tariff - 48 points
    International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 24 points
    GCSE/National 4/National 5 - To include English Language and Mathematics grade C/4 or above (or level 2 equivalent).
    HNC (BTEC) - P
    Applicants must possess a Level 4 HNC Art and Design in order to be considered for this course. A copy of your HNC module transcripts will be requested, and the original required to be seen at enrolment. If you don't already have a relevant HNC, you'll take the two-year course and start at HNC (Level 4).

    A level - DD
    In Art, Design, or related subjects.

    Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - PPP
    In Art, Design, or related subjects.

    Access to HE Diploma - P: 45 credits
