The HND Photography for Industry is designed for photographers who wish to enter the profession and want to develop a range of skills on a nationally-recognised Level 5 qualification. During the course, learners will develop the skills required for studio, location and dark room work. Working with your tutor, you may get the opportunity to publish your work online.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 24 points
GCSE/National 4/National 5 - To include English Language and Mathematics grade C/4 or above (or level 2 equivalent).
HNC (BTEC) - P
Applicants must possess a Level 4 HNC Art and Design in order to be considered for this course. A copy of your HNC module transcripts will be requested, and the original required to be seen at enrolment. If you don't already have a relevant HNC, you'll take the two-year course and start at HNC (Level 4).
A level - DD
In Art, or related subjects.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - PPP
In Art and Design, or related subjects.
Access to HE Diploma - P: 45 credits
English Program Requirements
IELTS (Academic): 6
An overall band score of 6.0, with none of the four skills below 5.5.
Cambridge English Advanced:
B2 First, formerly known as Cambridge English: First (FCE).
Students from outside the UK may be required to demonstrate their level of English by providing proof of an English language certificate or other qualification. This is particularly the case where a student:
• is from a country where English is not an official/first language, or;
• has previous qualifications which include English as a second language, or;
• has previous qualifications which have not been studied through the medium of English.
The approximate guideline minimum English level required for entry at level 5 is "B2" on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
This roughly equates to:
• IELTS - an overall band score of 6.0, with none of the four skills below 5.5, or;
• B2 First, formerly known as Cambridge English: First (FCE)
