    About

As a Weber State art major, you have the option to focus your studies on a particular art discipline with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, or choose among a wide range of disciplines while completing your studio coursework with a bachelors degree in general art.

    What Youll Learn at Weber

Prior to applying to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, youll complete foundation courses designed to foster a knowledgeable and creative community of artists and designers.Once in this major, youll focus the majority of your studio work in one area of emphasis.

The general art degree does not include prerequisite courses and allows you to choose 12 credits of studio electives, so you can diversify your studio experience. In addition, you will be required to choose a minor to enhance and broaden your knowledge.

While the general art degree requires foreign language or language arts general education courses, the Bachelor of Fine Arts allows you to instead complete more in-depth study of art.
