This Art History Degree is taught at Bristol School of Art, Clifton. Bristol School of Art is one of the oldest Art Schools in the country, being established in 1858 and has a recognised reputation for offering high quality education, across a range of creative disciplines. Bristol School of Art is based right in the centre of student life in Clifton, Bristol. The Campus is situated in the right-hand wing of the Royal West of England Academy on Queens Road. Bristol is a large vibrant city, but still easy enough to walk around. It has been named on numerous occasions as one of the best cities in which to live and to study. This BA (Hons) Degree will take full advantage of the cultural and artistic opportunities that the city has to offer. The course is built around taught workshops, independent activities, seminars, tutorials and lectures. There are no formal examinations, as the course is assessed by coursework and practical activities. This degree will be studied on a part-time route and it will take 6 years to gain the full BA(Hons)
