    Art Mediation and Cultural Management

    About

With our masters programme, we offer a combination of teaching and research in the areas of art mediation and cultural management that is unique in Germany – in one of Germany’s strongest economic and richest cultural regions.

Our objective is to maintain a balance on the programme between academically proven teaching on the one hand and practice in the cultural sector on the other in order to prepare our graduates in the best possible way for complex and executive positions in the field of arts and culture and to allow them to carry on to a relevant doctoral programme.
Our programme is characterised by an interdisciplinary approach thanks to collaboration between the Department of Art History in the Faculty of Art and Humanities and the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Heinrich Heine University as well as by the dialogue-based exchange with the students and stakeholders in the cultural sector.
