    About

Overview Through a unique multidisciplinary approach, Asian Studies at Holy Cross offers students a variety of ways to explore and interpret the diversity, history, and cultures of Asia.Led by faculty from disciplines across the curriculum with teaching and research expertise in the Asian region, we offer a major and a minor, and sponsor activities and events beyond the classroom — often in collaboration with other academic departments and divisions. Students have the flexibility to explore their interests through courses in subjects ranging from political science to anthropology or theatre. Course work may focus on a specific area — China, Japan, India, Vietnam, Indonesia or Nepal, for example — or a variety of themes from traditional and contemporary histories to social and political movements, religious foundations and transformations, economic development, philosophical approaches, artistic productions, and more. In addition to serving as a focus of a broad liberal arts education, Asian Studies majors and minors benefit from their interdisciplinary training to go on to careers in international affairs, public policy, law, economics, journalism, scholarship, and the arts.  I want to find another Bachelor Course
Home of major philosophical, religious and artistic traditions that have shaped the values of half the world’s population, Asia is critically important in today’s global marketplace and in international politics.
