Overview With courses covering everything from laws and regulations to piloting, CBU’s major in aviation dispatch will prepare students to become a FAA licensed aircraft dispatcher.Why study Aviation Dispatch at California Baptist University?This program is designed for students who desire a non-flight career as an airline and business aviation dispatcher. It borrows from the aviation flight major, but also includes courses in dispatch to enable students to earn their FAA aircraft dispatch certificate. We offer a bachelor degree in Aviation Dispatch at California Baptist University. Aircraft dispatchers work with airlines, sharing responsibility for the safety of the flight with the captain. Though they typically work on the ground, in the main airline operations center, the dispatcher is responsible for all phases of a flight—from planning to landing.
