    BA (Hons) Acting will give you expert training as a performance artist who can represent the human condition through the roles you play.

    You are passionate about performance and expressing ideas through your voice, movement, and emotions.

    You will develop as a practitioner who can work across a range of artistic disciplines: from stage to sound and camera work to emerging performance practices in digital media.

    At NUA you not only get professional training as an actor in preparation for work in a variety of traditional platforms, but you are also trained as a creative practitioner in your own right.

    BA (Hons) Acting will give you expert training as a performance artist who can represent the human condition through the roles you play.

    Undergraduate Year 1 entry

    Year 0 entry

    Most undergraduate degrees at NUA offer a Year 0 (four year degree) option. Find out more about Year 0.

    The Year 0 option has lower academic requirements to the typical three year degrees. If you would like to discuss the entry requirements for Year 0 entry please contact the International Office.

    Undergraduate degree courses

    When to apply

    Applications for both 2022 and 2023 entry are currently open. If you are interested in 2022 entry then we would recommend applying as soon as possible to meet accommodation deadlines.

    Undergraduate applicants typically submit their applications via The Universities and College Admissions Service (UCAS). You can also apply directly using the below form.

    The application will include your personal details, academic achievements, a formal statement and one academic reference.
