    On this course you will usually be taught by a range of staff with relevant expertise and knowledge appropriate to the content of the unit. Starting roles in production include Edit Assistant, Post-production Runner, Camera Assistant or Sound Assistant (ScreenSkills).

    Entry Requirements

    Please see below some examples of the qualifications for entry onto Year 1 for September 2024 and September 2025 entry:

    • Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate (Huikao) average 80%, or Gaokao 61-71%. Grade depends on the course
    • France: Baccalaureate with 11.5–12.5 overall or 10.5-11.5 (international option)
    • Hong Kong HKDSE Diploma (4,4,3 to 4,4,4 from three subjects). Grade depends on the course
    • India: All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) 60-70%
    • Spain: Titulo de Bachillerato with 6 - 7. Grade depends on the course
    • Turkey: Devlet Lise Diplomasi/Lise Bitirme Diplomasi 3.5/5.0 or 70%

    The course is designed with optional specialisms that enable you to go deeper into areas such as production management, camera and lighting, location and post-sound, editing, production design, distribution or festival administration. This means you can shape your learning based on your career aspirations.

    Our graduates are not limited to ‘getting a job’ in the competitive field of film production, but will have a variety of transferrable skills that ensure they are prepared for an engaging career in a constantly dynamic workplace.
