    This two-year part-time honours degree programme builds on the level 7 degree in Hospitality Management to give students an in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and prepare students for enhanced employment opportunities.

    The programme focuses on business and management at strategic levels, where students learn to critically analyse and solve business problems, make decisions and generate long term business solutions. Graduates can expect to find employment in management positions in the world's finest hospitality providers.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants should hold a level 7 degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent, with a GPA of 50% or above. Applicants who do not have a level 7 award but have significant experience may be assessed under the Institute's Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) process.

    If you are interested in studying in DkIT, you need to meet the entry requirements for the program for which you want to apply. Each application must be accompanied by certified evidence of all relevant qualifications held to date including evidence of proficiency in English.

    Career opportunities for Architectural Technology graduates are excellent. Typically employers include architectural firms, public and private bodies, planning departments and local authorities, private construction firms and material manufacturers. The architectural technologist is a key member of the design team and collaborates closely with the architect to provide objective technical advice. Demand from local, national and international companies is exceeding current supply of suitably qualified graduates.

    Non-EU applicants applying for one of the courses at DkIT, please apply online via the link below. Simply choose your course of interest and hit apply, please provide the following documents with your application:

      • Academic transcripts
      • Degree certificate (if applicable)
      • IELTS (or equivalent) transcripts
      • Passport copy

    If your application is successful, you will receive an initial letter of offer either directly or through the offices of the agency.

    You must then pay the fees for the first year of the programme in full and and provide evidence of a health insurance policy. Once your fees have been lodged in full to the DKIT account, a final letter of offer will be issued. You will need this letter in order to apply for a student visa. Visa applications are made to your local Irish Embassy or Consulate or to the Department of Justice in Ireland. If your visa application is refused, you can apply to the Institute regarding a refund.
