Bachelor in European Economic Studies (BSc in EES)

    About

During the first two years of the EES programme, compulsory courses include classes in economics, mathematics, statistics and econometrics, foreign languages, business administration, information systems, political science, sociology, and law. On the basis of learning targets agreed upon in advance, the curriculum during the one-year programme abroad is to be professionally oriented, largely corresponding to the students' preferences. As to the necessary (first) professional qualification, special orientation towards professional fields in the economic domain and nearby disciplines, such as courses in political science and business administration, are of decisive importance regarding the courses students choose. In this respect, particular significance is attributed to the composition of the entire programme, a sensible combination of accomplishments which have been achieved within the first two years of the programme and studies conducted abroad. Graduation occurs after completion of the one year of study abroad and a Bachelor's thesis to be written within two months at the end of the three-year programme.
