    The diverse skillset acquired in this program will equip you with the tools to analyse and manage risks of all types and develop techniques for the effective use of quantitative information to influence and improve business decision making.

    Accredited by the Actuaries Institute, Bond’s Bachelor of Actuarial Science will not only prepare you for a job that is in high demand, but also develop a knowledge base drawing from the core fields of mathematics, probability, programming, finance, economics, and data science that can be transferred across numerous industries and disciplines.

    As a Bond Business School student, you will have exclusive access to facilities including the Bond FinTech Hub which enables you the opportunity to gain a Bloomberg certification, while you can extend your data analytics knowledge with access to the advanced computing environment of the Centre for Data Analytics and its experts in this field.

    The program structure allows attainment of exemptions for all components of Part I (Foundation Program) accreditation with the Actuaries Institute.

    General Secondary Education Certificate (Successful Completion) and required SAT score 1290

    Overall test score. Where multiple test results have been presented, the overall test result providing the best rank will be used.

The skill set you gain from an actuarial science degree may also prepare you for a career as a business analyst, where your work will typically involve examining the operations, structure and policies of an organisation and recommending solutions to enable them to achieve their goals.

    Data scientist

    A data scientist is responsible for designing and implementing data-based collection and models, creating algorithms and predictive outcomes. Their role encompasses developing tools, automation systems and data frameworks to both frame and solve complex problems.
