"I chose Bond for the personalised experience, the small class sizes and the family culture. I have just completed a Summer Vacation Program at EY, Melbourne, in the Advisory-Data and Analytics Service Line which was such an incredible experience. I hope to one day to do a Master of Finance or MBA to assist my future aspirations of being an executive in the corporate world, and making a positive impact on communities and the environment."

"Deciding to study at Bond was such an easy decision. Not only is it the only university in Queensland that offers an accredited Bachelor of Actuarial Science, but it is also one of the top Australian tertiary institutions for student experience and quality of education. The opportunity to study here really aligned with my educational aspirations. I am passionate about the immense value of the skills I have learned at Bond. In future, I hope to practice some form of actuarial analytics at a firm with a level of community engagement comparable to Bond."

“What I enjoy in the program is the intersection of different fields including finance, maths, statistics and IT. Companies these days need people to analyse data and explain to them how it can benefit or affect their business. The Actuarial Science program gives you the technical understanding as well as the business context in order to explain that in a way people can understand”.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

Bond University accepts undergraduate applications from students based anywhere in the world. Our applicants typically include domestic and international students who have completed Year 12 in Queensland or elsewhere in Australia, or equivalent secondary studies in other countries. You are a domestic student if you are an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen or the holder of an Australian permanent visa. You are an international student whether you are within or outside Australia, and you do not meet the domestic student criteria.

As a general rule, Bond University imposes a minimum age requirement of 17 years and a minimum entry score (expressed as an OP, ATAR, IB or equivalent). Applicants require a minimum entry score equivalent to ATAR 65 or higher (equivalent to OP 15 and IB 24) to be considered for admission into our bachelor programs in Semester 1, 2021. Applicants who are about to complete their final Year 12 assessment will be also considered, based on the predicted OP, ATAR or IB score provided by their school. Applicants who do not meet this minimum entry score will be considered for admission into a Bond University College pathway program. More details on each of these options follow.

    English Program Requirements

All applicants must provide formal documentary evidence of English language proficiency per the stated requirements below. If an applicant provides evidence that fits under more than one category, then the most recent evidence will be used for admission. This document is to be read in conjunction with the University academic entry requirements. Please go to the Handbook Part 2: Academic Regulations for more information on the academic and English language proficiency.

Students who experience English language difficulties once enrolled should contact Academic Skills Centre.

These entry requirements are correct as of April 2021 and are subject to change. These are presented as a guide only. Bond University reserves the right to make the final decision regarding admission to the University.

Applicants to programs that require registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) may need to meet additional requirements to be registered.
