    Overview

    • Pioneering in the agriculture sector, UniSQ offers Queensland's first dedicated degree in Agricultural Technology and Management. It allows you to study agricultural courses from UniSQ Toowoomba surrounded by vibrant ag industry centres or opt for the convenience of external/online study.
    • Benefit from work-integrated and industry placement learning, where you can put into practice the agricultural technology and management skills youve learned and connect with industry partners.
    • Participate in projects with leading agtech researchers that work with:
      • international agribusinesses, such as John Deere, Raven and Incitec Pivot;
      • rural research and development corporations, such as CRDC,GRDC,SRA,Hort Innovation, MLA, AMPC,and AgriFutures Australia;
      • cooperative research centres, including Soils CRC and Fight Food Waste CRC; and
      • Agtech Logistics Hub.
    • Graduate with the expertise to identify new and emerging technologies for use in a range of both plant and animal settings, and with business skills to ensure these technologies are financially and environmentally sustainable.

    Pre-requisites

    To study this degree we assume you have sound knowledge in:

    • English (Units 3 & 4, C), and
    • General Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)

    We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12). Find out more about assumed knowledge.

    English Program Requirements

    All UniSQ program entry requirements list an IELTS English score as a prerequisite. If you have another English language proficiency score, please consult the table below for equivalent comparisons.     English Language Proficiency tests should not be older than two years upon application.

    To apply to study, you will need to submit your application either via QTAC or directly to UniSQ.

    • If you're applying for the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Paramedicine or Bachelor of Midwifery, you will need to apply via QTAC
    • If you are applying for an undergraduate program with UniSQ as a Domestic student, you are new to UniSQ, you are in Year 12 or completed Year 12 the year prior to commencing your study, or it's been a while since you left school, apply through QTAC.
    • If you have previously studied at UniSQ or have completed a Certificate III or higher with TAFE QLD, you can apply directly to UniSQ.
    • If you're an International student, you can apply directly to UniSQ.
    • If you are applying to study a postgraduate program with UniSQ you will need to submit your application directly to UniSQ via the online application portal.
