Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation - Bachelor of Creative Arts

    About

This unique double degree allows you to engage with a carefully curated selection of some of the greatest intellectual and artistic masterpieces, while exploring and honing your own creativity.

Throughout the Bachelor of Western Civilisation, you will philosophically reflect on questions about art, literature, science and religion while also investigating such topics as the nature of selfhood, truth, reason and wisdom. You will discover how great ideas and art can shape us - our understanding of ourselves and the world.

In the Bachelor of Creative Arts, you will gain the skills to become a practicing artist; to develop practical skills in your chosen discipline, as well as the theoretical knowledge to understand how creative art functions in contemporary cultural, political and artistic environments.

See the course handbook for more information.

A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately. Having a double degree will give you a competitive advantage in a crowded job market.
