Bachelor of Biomedicine (Specialised) Why study Biomedicine The Bachelor of Biomedicine is a practical degree providing essential pre-clinical knowledge across a broad arena of health and medical disciplines, designed to articulate with UWA’s accredited health professional degrees (Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry). All students in the Degree, including those in Assured Pathways, undertake a suite of core pre-clinical units as a single cohort in years 1-2. Optional units from a range of biomedical specialisations can be taken to provide more in-depth training across a broad range of fields of interest. This multi-disciplinary program, delivered by award winning educators and researchers, will support students to think critically and creatively and provide the transferrable skills and knowledge necessary to thrive professionally in the rapidly growing and developing health and biomedical arena.About the Bachelor of Biomedicine (Specialised) The Bachelor of Biomedicine (Specialised) is a practical degree providing learning across a broad arena of health and medical disciplines, designed to articulate with UWA’s health professional degrees. Multiple specialisations within the biomedical disciplines are offered to enable breadth and depth of learning in your field of interest, including Aboriginal Health, Human Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology Microbiology and Pathology.
