    About

    Understand the essential elements of both law and business with a Bachelor of Business Law. Tailor your degree to suit your specific interests and career goals with a flexible curriculum comprised of electives chosen from the Faculty of Law and Bond Business School with the opportunity to select a business major.

    The Professionalism and Legal Skills Program embedded in your law subjects includes essential skills such as legal writing and reasoning, oral communication, advocacy, dispute resolution, negotiation, and legal ethics and professionalism.

    You will also have the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships and work experience.

    Entry Requirements

    General Secondary Education Certificate (Successful Completion) and required SAT score 1100

    Overall test score. Where multiple test results have been presented, the overall test result providing the best rank will be used.

    English language proficiency requirements

    Bond's programs are taught and assessed in English, so depending on your educational background and citizenship, you may be required to provide evidence that your English language ability meets our requirements. This may include submitting results from an approved English Language Test taken in the past two years - you can see the required results for the most common approved tests below. There are other ways to demonstrate English language proficiency and gain entry into this program, including demonstrating prior study in English, or other qualifications. If your qualification does not meet the English language requirements then you will need to provide an English proficiency test for admission.

Understanding employee and labour law can be a big advantage in this role.

    Compliance officers assist companies in staying within their legal limitations, as well as ensure companies uphold their licensing requirements and stay up to date with policies and licensing. Both finance and healthcare are popular industries for this career however it can be applied to a range of sectors.

    Policy officer

    Policy officers evaluate, manage, and oversee an organisation’s policies to ensure they are effective and adhere to the required regulations as well as implement new policies required. They may work closely with governing bodies including state and federal governments.
