Your accelerated undergraduate track to a medical degree. This double degree program enables school leavers without an undergraduate degree to pursue a career in medicine. The program provides a high standard of academic, clinical and professional medical training to equip graduates with the skills necessary to take up positions as hospital interns and thereby qualify for medical registration in Australia.

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement is comparable to an ATAR of 65, please note that some Flinders programs require higher than a comparable ATAR of 65. For further information please see the individual requirements for programs on the course listings.

Prerequisite subject requirements

Credit for previous university studies is granted at the discretion of the faculty that administers a chosen course. If you are seeking credit or exemption you will need to provide detailed subject outlines of studies completed.
If you do not meet the necessary academic requirements you may enrol in a Foundation Program at Flinders International Study Centre (FISC).
English Program Requirements
If you don’t meet our English language entry requirements and need to improve your English language proficiency, you can do so through our approved English Language Instruction Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) providers. This means that you can attend the required English language tuition at approved ELICOS providers and gain direct entry into university without an IELTS or TOEFL test.
Career
To qualify for registration with the Medical Board of Australia, on graduation you will need to complete a year as a hospital intern. Internship allocations in South Australia are managed by South Australian Medical Education and Training.
In addition to pursuing further training in a wide range of medical specialities, graduates may work in research, public health or community aid around the world, or in health administration.
