What is a Bachelor of Communication Design?
A Bachelor of Communication Design degree teaches you to share information visually using cutting-edge techniques, tools and tech from across disciplines. You’ll be guided by industry experts (think: brand consultants, graphic designers and creative directors) and will graduate ready to make your mark on the creative industry.Whether you choose to study on-campus or online, you’ll get your hands dirty with projects that tackle real-world challenges through problem-based learning and work-integrated learning opportunities.
Learning outcomes and Work-Integrated Learning
- Explore typography, image generation and information design.
- Explore packaging and branded environment design and learn how products and places can be designed for end user needs.
- Refine strategic thinking and brand development skills.
- Focus on creating messages for a range of audiences.
- Apply theoretical and technical knowledge to real-world problems.
- Undertake 120 hours of experience by completing an internship or working on a live brief.
