    Industry trends

While things like opera and ballet can feel like niche activities, in reality, 97% of Australians engage with the creative arts (Creative Australia, 2023). We read. We listen to music. We watch TV and movies. We go to festivals and art galleries. Our creative industries add billions to the economy and employ hundreds of thousands of people.

However, the performing arts are notoriously competitive industries, especially since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s why this degree focuses heavily on career planning. It builds versatile, transferable skills that can be applied across the creative sector and beyond – from business and digital literacy to resilience and adaptability.

There are so many ways to be a creative professional. We’ll help you find a path that marries your passion with a stable income.
