    You'll learn:

    • Cybersecurity fundamentals
      • Learn the basic principles and best practices of cybersecurity.
    • Criminology and criminal law
      • Dive into the social, cultural, political and economic factors relating to crime. Understand contemporary criminal law through the lens of the courts, police and juries.
    • Programming and cyber algorithms
      • Become an expert in Python and learn how algorithms are used to solve cybersecurity challenges.
    • Cyber law and policy
      • Critically evaluate Australian and international cyberspace laws.
    • Forensic science and the law
      • Understand how the forensic sciences are used in the criminal justice process.
    • Australian and international justice systems
      • Observe Australian and international criminal justice systems and understand why they must constantly evolve, especially in the context of cybercrime.

    The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 7 - Bachelor Degree.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

    English Program Requirements

    6.5 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 6.0.
