This course is tailored for students with an interest engineering and wanting deeper understanding of the scientific basis of engineering and technology, aiming to forge professionals adept at navigating the intersection of science and engineering.
You will acquire a blend of scientific knowledge and develop skills essential for professional engineering practice, preparing you for diverse roles in research, design, development, or scientific management. The course equips you with technological insight to tackle scientific challenges and the creative skills to devise practical solutions.
Learning combines theoretical study with hands-on experience, ensuring you graduate ready to contribute to sectors like biotechnology, communications, energy, environmental protection, medical technology, and more as you tailor your engineering and science majors to focus your direction.
You have the option of undertaking honours in science, or an additional two internships to gain the Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice, or both, to further differentiate your skills.
There is a strong interrelation between the progress of engineering and developments in science, and a demonstrated need for professionals with a strong understanding and experience in both areas.

This combined degree can be completed in less time than would be required to complete the two degrees separately.
