About

A Bachelor of Health Science (Aesthetics) course equips you with a diverse range of clinical knowledge and skills, focusing on preventative skin health and anti-ageing dermal therapies. Supported by a theoretical foundation in health science, this in-depth aesthetic course covers advanced skin health protocols and appropriate applications of techniques and therapies using the most up-to-date aesthetic technology and products.

The Bachelor of Health Science (Aesthetics) develops your capability of incorporating aesthetic technologies and innovations into professional practice. Youâ€™ll learn in a collaborative environment which has been designed to maximise learning and encourage engagement. The practical elements of this course will take place on the Brisbane campus, offering a range of client treatments from our dynamic student clinic so you can confidently begin work in the beauty therapy industry.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Australian Year 12 or equivalent.

Broadly relevant work experience (documented e.g. CV), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; OR
Formal, informal or non-formal study, completed or partially completed, demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; OR
Written submission to demonstrate reasonable prospect of success; OR
Discipline specific portfolio (art and/or design) – applicable to Design only.

International students requirements

Australian Year 12 or equivalent; and
Academic IELTS 6.0 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent.

English Program Requirements

Entry to all courses requires proficiency in English under the English Language Proficiency Requirements.
