    About

If you're looking to be a respected leader in your field, advance the boundaries of human knowledge and develop specialised research competence and expertise, the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) is for you.

The Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) is a 1-year program where you'll learn how to plan and conduct a research project with a resultant manuscript written for publication in a journal. You'll have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to public health research and establish your skills as a researcher, as well as enhance your professional reputation.

Through your research, you'll push the boundaries of the discipline and develop your independence, self-reliance and skills in critical and analytical thinking, writing and problem-solving.

You'll work closely with internationally respected researchers and academics and learn how to identify, analyse and synthesise relevant scientific literature, along with gaining an understanding of the variety of research methods used in health research.

You'll graduate with a respected honours qualification, with developed knowledge and skills that will set you apart in the jobs market, prove your leadership material, and provide a pathway to future research or learning.

If you excel, you can further your research ambitions and enrol in a Master of Philosophy or PhD program, where you'll continue to develop your skills and make a significant contribution to knowledge.
