      When it comes to how to study horticulture, this online course enables you to balance your study with work, family and lifestyle commitments. Study horticulture online and you'll learn using a range of online resources and communication tools, as well as attending residential schools on campus or through study tours, and undertaking workplace learning in industry. You may also be able to adjust your study load – taking on more subjects to accelerate your degree and graduate sooner, or reducing them if life gets busy.

    • GOTAFE pathway

      The Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma of Horticulture provides an admission pathway to our Bachelor of Horticulture. Credit will normally only be granted on the basis of completed TAFE or VET qualifications at the Certificate IV Horticulture level or above.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    A completed High School Certificate with an ATAR equivalent of 60 (including adjustment factors) or equivalent.
    OR
    A completed Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking to the currently listed ATAR
    OR
    A completed AQF Certificate III or higher level qualification.
    OR
    50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification.
    OR
    A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
    OR
    Successful completion of two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
    OR
    Work experience, within the same industry as the course profile, of no less than two years.
    AND
