    About

    In the IT area, the program allows students to develop skills in application development, program design, systems analysis and design, networks, web-design, and the implementation of technology to solve real-world problems. In addition to providing a strong technical background in IT, the program also provides students with the necessary knowledge in an Arts major such as: International Relations and Asian Studies, Culture and Society, English, History and Political Thought, Philosophy, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Indonesian, and Psychological Studies.

    Successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studiesor completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV

    If your first language is English or if you can provide satisfactory evidence that English was the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies (secondary or tertiary studies completed within 2 years at the time of your commencement at Western Sydney University), you may be considered as meeting the requirement of proficiency in English.

    If English is not your first language or was not the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies, you are required to demonstrate your proficiency in the English language by achieving a prescribed level in an approved English examination or test before you can receive a full offer of a place.
