    About

    The Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology is a three-year program accredited by the Australian Computer Society. It meets the demands of business to be competitive and to innovate in this fast-changing area. Students build strong foundational skills, and then apply these to a range of industry relevant problems and projects as part of work-integrated learning. To complete the degree, students do a major to specialise in topics such as cyber security, cloud computing, multimedia computing. Accredited with the Australian Computer Society at a professional level, you’ll graduate ready to connect people worldwide, and help businesses or individuals to adapt to changing technology and market demands. Note: Sydney City Campus semesters commence in March, July and October. Not all majors and subjects are available on listed campuses. Please refer to our handbook for more information.

    Undergraduate Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studiesor completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV

    English Program Requirements

    All international students must have a good command of written and spoken English.

    If your first language is English or if you can provide satisfactory evidence that English was the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies (secondary or tertiary studies completed within 2 years at the time of your commencement at Western Sydney University), you may be considered as meeting the requirement of proficiency in English.

    If English is not your first language or was not the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies, you are required to demonstrate your proficiency in the English language by achieving a prescribed level in an approved English examination or test before you can receive a full offer of a place.
