More than just legal theory, our Law Program builds the practical skills you'll need in the courtroom and beyond, opening doors to diverse careers in legal practice, business, government, and social justice. At ECU, students gain hands-on advocacy experience through mooting competitions and have the rare opportunity to cross-examine WA Police officers as part of their training.

Thanks to our partnership with the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre, students also work on real legal matters, applying their knowledge in authentic settings and developing the confidence and competence needed for a successful legal career.

Admission requirements you'll need to meet for this course.

• Academic Admission requirements (Band 5)

  All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • AQF Advanced Diploma or equivalent;
  • Undergraduate Certificate;
  • Successfully completed 1 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent);
  • Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test;*
  • University Preparation Course;*
  • Indigenous University Orientation Course; or*
  • Associate Degree.

Applications for this course are not accepted through ECU's Experience Based Entry Scheme.
