    Middle Eastern Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Tawjihiyah)

    Grade average of 78 in the final year results OR successful completion of a recognised pre-tertiary or foundation program OR successful completion of one year study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution is required in addition to the completion of High School studies.

    English Program Requirements

    English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

    English test results must be no more than two years old.

    International students who successfully complete the Direct Entry Program (DEP) will satisfy the English Language requirements for this Griffith degree.

    The Direct Entry Program (DEP) is not available for Domestic students.

    Bachelor of Public Health graduates find employment across various fields with organisations as diverse as Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN), NSW Health, City of Logan, The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health.

    You will be qualified to work as a public health officer or a health promotion officer, tackling our most pressing health issues.

    You may find work in:

    • government departments and agencies
    • health centres
    • schools and childcare centres
    • community organisations.

    You could work on intervention programs or policies in teams at an international level with organisations such as the World Health Organization, the United Nations or UNICEF, or with federal, state or local governments or at the community level. You will be prepared for a range of contemporary issues such as mental health, women's and men's health, epidemics and pandemics, alcohol and drugs, and child and adolescent health.
