Consider a degree in social and environmental sustainability. Our program provides a unique blend of social sciences, humanities, environmental studies, and policy. You'll study the latest research and best practices in sustainability, hear from community and industry leaders and gain hands on experience in tackling complex social and environmental challenges. Through this program you can take one of 10 interdisciplinary science minors to extend your knowledge in a field of interest to you.     Entry requirements Admission requirements To be considered for this course you need to: achieve a minimum ATAR of 75 demonstrate English language competence - applicants presenting with IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 6.5 and no band less than 6.0 satisfy any prerequisites for your preferred majors (refer to individual major descriptions for prerequisite details) You can view the prerequisites and recommended subjects for your chosen course here. Assured Pathway information If you have a professional career in mind, take advantage of one of our Assured Pathways. An Assured Pathway gives you an assured place in one of our postgraduate professional courses (such as Law, Engineering or Medicine) from the start of your studies with us.     English Program Requirements

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENT English competency English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place. Graduate applicants require at least two successful years of full-time or equivalent degree studies undertaken in Australia, Canada (excluding Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States of America.     2. Select your course, entry pathway and upload supporting documents
    3. Save or submit your application

    Domestic students applying for Graduate Entry Medicine must apply to GEMSAS.

    If you are applying for a combined coursework and research professional psychology program, you will need to apply via the School of Graduate Research.

    If you're an international student, you may wish to apply through an agent.

    • Admissions will contact you if any additional information is needed to process your application. You can upload any additional documentation to your application via the applicant portal.
    • If you have applied for a course that requires an interview, Admissions will contact you close to the interview period.
