Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences & Master of Applied Human Performance Science

About the course By completing this Combined Bachelor's and Master's course you will graduate with both a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences and a Master of Applied Human Performance Science. In your first three years you will complete the Sport Science, Exercise and Health (Extended Major) where you will gain a sound basis in sport and exercise science theory combined with practical, technical and communication skills, followed by a semester of postgraduate study. You will then complete a final year of postgraduate study in the Master of Applied Human Performance Science. The master's component of the course aims to improve the knowledge, understanding and practical skills of practitioners currently, or prospectively working in the human performance industry. The Sport Science, Exercise and Health major (MJD-SEHDM) in any course leading to a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences or Bachelor of Philosophy is accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Graduates will be eligible to apply as an accredited exercise scientist. If you decide not to continue in the CBM you can exit after three years with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences (Advanced). Note that the Advanced Bachelor Degree is available only as a CBM exit award. It is not offered for direct enrolment and is not awarded on completion of the CBM.
