Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management

Learn how to manage and deliver community-based sport and recreation services and programs with La Trobe's Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management.

Discover how to provide a range of experiences and community events that drive physical activity, community development and general wellbeing outcomes for individuals and communities. Develop an understanding of sport and recreation management and policy, needs assessment and evaluation, planning and programming, service delivery, community engagement and how to work with volunteers.

By studying La Trobe's Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management, you will:

• explore topics such as sport and recreation program design, delivery and evaluation, policy writing, planning and more
• get out of the classroom and into the field through placements with local councils, sport associations, community groups, clubs and more
• graduate ready to launch an in-demand career in sport and recreation management, or pursue an advanced qualification through postgraduate studies.

The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 7 - Bachelor Degree.

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

6.0 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 6.0.
