    BUILD A BODY OF RESEARCH.

    Following on from the Bachelor of Sport Development, this Honours degree allows you to undertake advanced study and supervised research work. You'll delve deeper into the specialisation you've chosen and work within a team of other like-minded students and academics to further your research.

    Entry Requirements

    The University's Admission Policy will apply.

    To be eligible for admission to this Honours program, consideration will be given to the following criteria:

    • successful completion of the Bachelor of Sport Development or an equivalent qualification
    • a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0 over the second and third year of the Bachelor degree
    • the preparedness of the applicant to undertake the degree in terms of the elapsed time since the prospective candidate qualified for the award of a bachelor degree and the academic preparation provided by the bachelor degree for the candidate's proposed dissertation topic.

    The Program Director will take the following into consideration when assessing applications for admission:

    • the suitability of the proposed dissertation topic; and
    • the resources available to support the candidature including availability of appropriate supervision.

    English Program Requirements

    English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

    English test results must be no more than two years old.

    Applicants should refer to the following University procedure for further information:

    International students who successfully complete the Direct Entry Program (DEP) will satisfy the English Language requirements for this Griffith degree.

    The Direct Entry Program (DEP) is not available for Domestic students.

    If you do not meet the University's specified English language requirements, you may wish to contact the Griffith English Language Institute to increase your eligibility for entering a Griffith University program. This Institute offers a number of English language and other courses at both its Brisbane and Gold Coast branches:
