    About

    Adelaide University’s Bachelor of Sustainability and Climate Change combines geography, politics and development studies to develop your understanding of why climate change is happening – and what you can do to combat it.

    You’ll learn about environmental and political issues shaping our world. Explore climate systems and how people both influence and are influenced by them. Deepen your understanding of sustainability principles and learn how to analyse and develop policy. Help develop adaptation strategies, and influence policy that will transform the way we respond to climate change.

    You’ll choose from a range of interest areas including global politics, environmental management and sociology. Build hands-on skills in real-world environments through an internship and professional development opportunities. These valuable experiences will build your personal and professional confidence in the workplace.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    To be eligible, an applicant must have achieved at least one of the following minimum entry requirements and demonstrate they fulfil any prerequisite and essential criteria for admission. In cases where there are more eligible applicants than available places, admission will be competitive with ranks based on the entry criteria.

    Secondary education (Year 12)

    • Completion of a secondary education qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

    Vocational Education and Training (VET)

    • Completion of an award from a registered training organisation (RTO) at Certificate IV (AQF level 4) or higher.

    Higher education study

    • Successful completion of at least 6 months full-time study (or equivalent part-time) in a higher education award program in an undergraduate diploma (AQF level 5) or higher.
