The Bachelor of Arts program in Culture and Economy consists of a major and a combination major.
The core subject, Media and Communication Studies, teaches students the basic principles and theories of communication and media systems. The scientific analysis of communication forms and the media is at the heart of the bachelors program. You will investigate how the Internet, news and films influence and change social systems and society. Courses in business English supplement the program.
You can choose to study Business Administration or Economics as a combination major. If you choose Business Administration, you can attend courses on finance, marketing, management, business informatics, accounting, and production. Students can attend seminars to specialize in business ethics. If you study Economics as your combination major, you will learn about statistics and gain an insight in microeconomics and macroeconomics. A further focus is placed on economic history.
