This program is aimed at applying the power of mathematics to solve practical problems. Behind every modern technology there is a history of conceptual mathematical developments, for example, the foundations of computer science, data compression and Google's ranking system. The relevance of mathematical reasoning in modern life is invaluable.

What you will learn

Do you have an interest in domestic animals? You will have opportunities to learn through experience in working with animals. This program meets the pre-veterinary medicine requirements and prepares you to work in fields outside of traditional animal agriculture including biomedical sciences, companion, equine and research animal care, animal health and environmental sciences.

A Visa or MasterCard for online payment of application fee. For most programs, a minimum, non-refundable $90 CDN application fee is required to submit your application.Refer to yourprogram pagefor specific fee information.

3. After you apply

Transcripts

Transcripts or report cards are used to calculate your admission average and to determine whether you have met or will meet prerequisite requirements for your program.

English language proficiency

You may be asked to show evidence that you are proficient in English to ensure you are prepared to study at USask. If you’ve taken a standardized test, you will need to arrange for your results to be sent directly to the University of Saskatchewan from the testing centre.
