    Entry Requirements

    Please see below some examples of the qualifications for entry onto Year 1 for September 2024 and September 2025 entry:

    • Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate (Huikao) average 80%, or Gaokao 71-76%. Grade depends on the course
    • France: Baccalaureate with 12.5–13 overall or 11.5-12 (international option)
    • Hong Kong HKDSE Diploma (4,4,4 from three subjects). Grade depends on the course
    • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) 70-75%
    • Spain: Titulo de Bachillerato with 7 to 7.5. Grade depends on course
    • Turkey: Devlet Lise Diplomasi/Lise Bitirme Diplomasi 3.5/5.0 or 70% to 4.0/5.0 or 80%

    If English is not your first language, you will need to provide evidence that you can understand English to a satisfactory level. English language requirements for this course are normally:

    Accreditations

    For 2024: This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers to meet in part, the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for 2019-2024. intake years.

    For 2025: Accreditation will be sought from the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) to meet, in full, the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in 2025.
