About

Build on the knowledge of your Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology (Advanced) or Ontario College Biotechnology Technologist diploma through this college-to-university advanced entry program.

Enhanced learning opportunities abound in the research laboratories of our professors, including faculty-supervised paid research assistantships. Awarded on a competitive basis, students undertake research internships with our professors each summer. These collaborative research opportunities contribute to the advanced training of Canadaâ€™s next generation of science workers.

Entry Requirements

General Secondary Education/Leaving Certificate from the Academic stream

Applicants are required to submit both their academic transcript indicating all subjects taken and grades achieved and a copy of their diploma or graduation certificate.

If your documents are issued in a language other than English, you must also provide notarized literal English translations.

All applicants to full-time undergraduate programs should apply in one of two ways; choose only one.

The OUAC online application system allows you to apply to multiple Ontario universities or programs with one application. Here are the steps to follow:

Apply online using the OUAC website using the 105 application.
Be sure to apply by the application deadline for the program to which you want to be admitted—you can choose up to three programs.
Once the university receives your application from the OUAC, we will send you information regarding the next steps in the admissions process.

Option two:

If you are only applying to Ontario Tech, apply internally at ontariotechu.ca/internationalapplication. You can apply to three programs for a $100 application fee.
