    At its simplest level, biology is the study of living organisms. A degree in biology gives you access to a variety of career options and is a great option for students planning to pursue medical, dental, pharmacy or other advanced degrees. At UW-River Falls, our award-winning biology department provides access to hands-on learning opportunities including internships, cutting-edge technology and research work as early as your first semester.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    • Composite ACT score of 27 or higher, OR
    • Graduated in the top 10% of high school class, OR
    • Have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 or higher

    English Program Requirements

    International students must provide all of the above (personal statement, letters of recommendation, transcript(s), and TOEFL (min. score of 80) or IELTS (min. score of 6.5).
