Biomolecular Engineering Concentration

A professional concentration in biomolecular engineering has been designed for chemical engineering majors who desire a strong background in biochemical engineering and biology. This will benefit students pursuing careers in medicine, biomedical engineering or in the following industries: consumer products, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. The decision to obtain this concentration is made optimally in the sophomore year.

These application instructions are for non-U.S. citizens applying for first-year enrollment at Clarkson. If you have already earned some university credit, you should apply as a transfer student. To review your application, we need to receive all of the following materials and information according to Clarkson’s admission dates and deadlines:

• Clarkson University Freshman Application or Common App 
• Official secondary school transcript, mark sheets, or national exam scores.
• Two letters of recommendation.
• Test Optional-Official SAT/ACT scores, if submitted the scores will be taken into consideration during the admissions process.
