    About

    The BSc Top-up programme is designed to be followed after the completion of an HND NQF level in Computing, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or closely related field. This programme also provides a forward route for BEng students who have been unable to progress directly to BEng level 6 status.

    The BSc programmes are organised from a subset of the school's Level 5 and 6 modules. The BSc Top-up programme is intended to provide, those to qualify for entry, with further learning outcomes so that they further meet the educational requirements for Incorporated Engineers.

    In order to be considered for entry to the BSc EEE Top-up FT course applicants will be required to have the following qualifications:

    Full-Time Students

    • HND, Foundation Degree in related subject, or
    • Equivalent L5 qualification worth 240 credits in related subject.
    • An overseas qualification assessed by UK ENIC as equivalent to at least BTEC HND in a closely-related subject and an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

    This course will prepare you for a career within many fields of electrical and electronic engineering where electronic systems are in use, such as embedded control systems where large scale integrated circuits are developed ad-hoc and/or integrated with programmed solutions into a whole system to automate the control of complex processes.
