BSc (Hons) Information and Communication Technology (Top-up)

This course will equip you with the knowledge and abilities to embark on a career in a networking environment, working in large enterprises and for service providers. You will have the awareness, understanding and the necessary flexibility to effectively utilise and continually re-develop your own knowledge and skills.

You will gain in-depth understanding and develop a range of up-to-date skills in the areas of IT service management, cybersecurity, business intelligence and strategy and more, opening up a wide range of employment opportunities.

The typical entry requirement is successful completion of one of the following:

• HND or Foundation Degree in a subject related to computer science
• 240 credits or equivalent of a recognised UK undergraduate award in a relevant subject

You need an overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 or higher in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking. An alternative approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) will also be accepted if the applicant’s element scores are equivalent to those required for IELTS. After 6 April 2015, you must take your IELTS exams at one of the test centres listed on the UKVI website.

This course will prepare you for rapidly changing work environments and for posts in large organisations, including service providers.
