All Business Engineering degree programs at the Technical University of Darmstadt are defined by their distinct interdisciplinary nature. They contain parts of both Business Studies (Business Administration and Economics) and Law on the one hand, and Engineering on the other to nearly the same extent.

Applying with international qualifications (language requirements, application deadlines): International Admission.

English Program Requirements

You must pass the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang” (DSH-2) as evidence that your spoken and written command of the German language is adequate for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes for which the language of instruction is German.

Participating in the DSH at the Studienkolleg is subject to charge.

Career

Business Engineering graduates work at the interface of technological and business needs. Development, marketing and product life cycles, for example, are much shorter today than only a few years ago. Therefore, company and construction procedures must be concluded simultaneously more often than before. For this interface requirement, business engineers are equipped with the necessary skills in both fields. Business engineers can choose from a multitude of career opportunities. Graduates of the Business Engineering Technical Field of Study Civil Engineering programme may find employment in management or in research and development. Their employers include businesses in the real estate sector and in the construction industry.
