The programme provides students with basic knowledge of Business and Economics and the ability to identify related problems, to analyse these scientifically and to work out possible solutions.
During the studies courses in the following areas are mandatory: Basics in Business Administration and Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Quantitative Processes, Additional Qualifications and an internship. Students can specialize in the fields of Business, Economics or the integrative area Business Sciences.
Additionally, students have to choose courses from the following elective modules according to their main field of study. In Business and Economics: Management and Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Operations and Logistics Management, Environmental Management and Energy Economics, Learning and Human Resources Management, Transport Economics, Economic Policy and Political Economy, Financial Economics and Global Markets. In the integrative area Business Sciences: Business Informatics, Economic Education, Statistics, Econometrics, and commercial Languages. The study programme ends with the writing of a research-oriented Bachelor thesis.
