The Bachelor of Arts in Business at American Public University (APU) is an online degree completion program with a business emphasis. The program is especially suited for those who have college credits to transfer and wish to create a personal pathway to a degree.

APU's bachelor's degree in business is a 120-credit-hour program offering a generous 60 credits of electives to allow you to customize a business degree to match your personal interests and goals. Core coursework covers management, marketing, business law, finance, accounting, and economics to help you develop a solid understanding of business principles and exercise critical thinking skills.

English is the official language of the American Public University System. Other than foreign language courses, all classroom requirements are to be completed by the student in English without the use of any translation. To ensure that students have the opportunity to succeed in our courses, students who are not U.S. citizens may be asked to provide verification of English proficiency in order to enroll for academic credit in any of our courses.

APUS accepts the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic Version, ACT English, SAT Verbal, or WAEC for the purpose of meeting the English language requirement. International students will be blocked from registration, or dropped from any initial registration, if it is determined that English proficiency is required to complete the admissions record.
