    It will help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to study for the full honours degree, even if you don’t currently meet the academic requirements.

    UCAS tariff points

    GCE A levels - grades BB, CDD or equivalent

    Pearson BTEC National Extended Diploma - grade MMP

    Access to HE Diploma - Pass overall with a minimum 80 UCAS Tariff points

    UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma - grade of Pass overall

    OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - grade MMP

    T level - We welcome applications from students undertaking T level qualifications. Eligible applicants will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of Pass as a condition of offer

    IB Diploma - Pass overall with a minimum overall score of 24 or minimum 80 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects

    Other Level 3 qualifications equivalent to GCE A level are also considered.

    A maximum of three A level-equivalent qualifications will be accepted towards meeting the UCAS tariff requirement.

    AS levels, or qualifications equivalent to AS level, are not accepted. The Extended Project qualification (EPQ) may be accepted towards entry, in conjunction with two A-level equivalent qualifications.

    International Baccalaureate points

    IB Diploma with minimum 24 points overall or 80 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects. If you plan to meet the Level 2 course requirements through your IB Diploma you will need to achieve Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 5 in English and Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 4 in Mathematics

    It’s a stepping stone that will prepare you for a full BA (Hons) Business Management degree course and all the opportunities this entails.
    With our focus on practical career skills you’ll have the confidence step into the business world in your first role after graduating. Our graduates go on to a huge variety of roles in organisations ranging from small local start-ups to large firms like O2, KP Snacks, or BNY Mellon. Many decide to join graduate schemes with companies like IBM or BMW.
    You might want to run your own business when you graduate. With the optional Business Creation unit as part of the full degree course, you can get started during your studies, networking with other entrepreneurs while you work at our on-campus start-up hub Innospace.
    If your ambition stretches beyond the UK, you’ll have a great head-start at Manchester Met. You can choose to study a language or take a year abroad at one of our partner institutions like University of Economics, Prague or IESEG in Paris.
