    Course Overview

    This BSc Business Psychology combines knowledge at the individual and organisational level on how people work, manage their careers, and the role of individual differences. It provides you with a foundation in introductory business alongside key insights into core areas of organisational psychology.

    What you will learn

    On this business psychology course you will learn to critically evaluate and challenge existing knowledge and organisational practices including group processes and organisational behaviour.

    You will critically explore subjects such as occupational mental health, organisational change and employee motivation. The course will also equip you with transferable skills, including advanced research skills. You will receive academic supervision for your final-year research dissertation which gives you the opportunity to learn how to collect and scrutinise organisational data and ask the right questions when conducting cutting-edge research.

    How you will learn

    This course is taught via weekly seminar sessions, where you will engage in discussions and workshops with teaching staff and peers, alongside recorded lectures and pre-set weekly readings.

    It is available to study full- or part-time and follows an evening timetable. You will undertake at least one module on campus per term, and you may also have the option to undertake another module online.

    Placement route

    If you opt for the full-time Placement route on this course, it will give you the opportunity to develop your business psychology skills in the workplace and apply learning from your degree in a professional setting to further increase your employability when you graduate. Please note that this option is not available for students who require a Student visa to study in the UK.

    Entry Requirements

    We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.

    For part-time courses, standard requirements are a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent.

    English Program Requirements

    If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests. We also accept other English language tests.
