About

Cardiovascular disease is the single biggest condition where lives can be saved by the NHS over the next 10 years. Our intercalated Cardiovascular Medicine BSc offers the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of cardiovascular medicine and research in a British Heart Foundation Centre of Excellence. Our multidisciplinary course covers emerging and existing topics in underlying physiology, translational research diagnostics and therapeutic intervention relevant to a patient with cardiovascular disease. This course is taught by one of only six British Heart Foundation Centres of Excellence in the UK, providing students with access to leading cardiovascular clinicians from leading teaching hospitals. Entry Requirements

Certificate of General Secondary Education will not be considered for direct entry - study our International Foundation Programme instead. Please note: students completing King's International Foundation programme will not be able to progress onto our Dentistry programmes.

English Program Requirements

To study at King's, it is essential that you can communicate effectively in English and are able to do so in an academic environment. You are usually required to provide certification of your competence in English before starting your studies.
