Overview The Chemical Engineering department offers a four-year program which is sufficiently general to prepare the graduate for all phases of the chemical industry, whether in development or research. The aim of the first two years is to provide the necessary background in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and engineering subjects such as electrical engineering, fluid mechanics, materials science, and chemical engineering.
