    About

    Chemistry is the branch of science concerned with the properties of elements and compounds, as well as the transformation of one substance into another. It makes predictions about hitherto unknown compounds, provides methods for the synthesis of new compounds as well as measuring techniques for the analysis of the chemical composition of unknown samples. The structure and composition of substances determines their chemical and physical properties and hence makes chemistry such an extensive field.
