    What is Chemistry with Biosciences?

    Chemistry with Biosciences is designed to produce graduates who are prepared to work at the interface of chemistry and biology, addressing global issues in chemical and life science such as drug development and safety, biomedicine, biotechnology and clinical operations.

    Entry Requirements

    Leaving Certificate:

    H6 or O4 Mathematics

    H4 two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science.

    GCSE:

    Grade B/6 Mathematics

    Advanced GCE (A Level):

    Grade C in two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science.

    International Baccalaureate:

    SL Grade 5 Mathematics

    HL Grade 5 in two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science.

    Certain combinations are not permitted, including: Physics/chemistry may not be presented with physics or chemistry. Applied mathematics may not be presented with mathematics.

    English Language Requirements

    All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.     Applicants for the Trinity International Foundation Programme require IELTS 5.0 overall, with 5.0 in Writing and no band below 4.5.

    Applicants for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes must present one of the following English language qualifications.
